About the event
Te Taumata Hauora o Te Kahu o Taonui Iwi-Māori Partnership Board and our communities will kōrero, wānanga, and strategise ways to uplift and support our whānau, tamariki, and mokopuna in Te Tai Tokerau.
What is the kaupapa? The focus will be on new or strengthened approaches because we know some good outcomes are being achieved, for whānau who are willing and able, we need to address equitable outcomes for whānau Māori, some of whom are unwilling, and/or unable or a mix a mix of willing, unwilling, able, or unable.
As an Iwi-Māori Partnership Board, one of our key priorities is Te Āpōpōtanga – supporting māmā and pēpē. A major focus within this priority is ensuring our whānau are not only immunised but are actively engaged with hauora services that instil trust, value their hauora, and treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
