Short to long term priorities for Te Tai Tokerau:

Te Āpōpōtanga – Māmā and Pēpi.

Oranga Hinengaro, Oranga Wairua – Living mentally well and free from addictions.
We will act as a revolutionary catalyst for change in Tai Tokerau, transforming hauora and well-being systems.
Over the next five years, the IMPB has a plan to bring about positive and meaningful changes in Hauora. We aim to challenge the traditional power structures, creating a new way of thinking about health and wellbeing for whānau in Te Tai Tokerau.
The IMPB will focus on working together with different sectors to build strong relationships and networks. Collaboration with The Crown will concentrate on improving infrastructure, skills, and resources in Te Tai Tokerau.
Ensuring fair Iwi investment is a top priority, and the IMPB is committed to listening to and championing the voices of whānau, Iwi, and the community. We will use solid data and evidence to support these voices and bring about real change.
Additionally, the we will act as an advocate, actively pushing for new infrastructure and advanced health technology investments in Te Tai Tokerau, showing a dedication to the overall progress of te Iwi Māori.
